Abstract: Along with the development of society, peoples quality of life has improved and they have more luxuries. Therefore, security becomes an important issue. The infrared intrusion alarm designed for this graduation project is based on a power supply circuit that provides +5V voltage to the entire system. It uses an infrared emission and reception system to detect whether someone has entered and sends signals through a microcontroller to sound-light alarm circuits, achieving the purpose of sounding alarms visually and audibly. The paper first briefly introduces the development background, basic circuit structure, working principle, and domestic development status of infrared intrusion alarms. Then it specifically describes how this application works in conjunction with specific circuits. It discusses in detail the process of voltage transformation, rectification, filtering, and stabilization in power supply circuits as well as distinguishing changes in voltage at the infrared reception end through program setting within a microcontroller system. The paper also explains how to control sound-light alarm circuits via the microcontroller and finally outputs stable signals using 555 timers.
