简介:
The primary location at the root of the file system where all files pertaining to software are stored. Furthermore, a designated directory houses all ‘Building Blocks’ – modular components – with μC/OS-II. I incorporated a ‘building block’ within this structure specifically designed to manage functions compatible with DOS, and these are utilized in the provided example code. Within the \SOFTWARE\BLOCKS directory, the files associated with the TO utility reside; these include the source file TO.C, located in the \SOFTWARE\TO\SOURCE directory, and the DOS executable file (TO.EXE), found in the \SOFTWARE\TO\EXE directory. It’s important to note that the TO utility necessitates a supporting file named TO.TBL, which must be situated within the root directory of your system. An illustrative example of TO.TBL is also available within the \SOFTWARE\TO\EXE directory; therefore, you should relocate this file to the root if you intend to execute TO.EXE. The main directory for all μC/OS-II files is established at \SOFTWARE\uCOS-II. Specifically, \SOFTWARE\uCOS-II\EX1_x86L contains the source code for EXAMPLE #1 (as detailed in section 1.07), designed for execution under DOS or a DOS window within Windows 95. Similarly, \SOFTWARE\uCOS-II\EX2_x86L houses the source code for EXAMPLE #2 (section 1.08), intended for operation under DOS or a DOS window on Windows 95. The source code for EXAMPLE #3 (section 1.09) resides in \SOFTWARE\uCOS-II\EX3_x86L and is also designed to run under DOS or a DOS window within Windows 95. Finally, \SOFTWARE\uCOS-II\Ix86L contains processor-specific code – often referred to as “the port” – for μC/OS-II targeting an 80x86 Real-Mode, Large Model processor; and \SOFTWARE\uCOS-II\SOURCE holds the processor-independent portion of μC/OS-II, offering full portability across diverse processor architectures.
