简介:
To date, the IGS (International GPS Service) has yielded clock data exclusively for the GPS satellites, which are subsequently compiled and disseminated every 15 minutes, as utilized within the sp3 orbit ephemerides files. Considerable enthusiasm exists for extending the satellite clock interval to 30 seconds – a measure intended to mitigate the impacts of SA (Single Frequency Acquisition) on interpolation processes – and furthermore, there’s a desire to generate station clock data at a suitable interval, likely around 5 minutes. Theoretically, the sp3 format could be maintained for accommodating both of these enhancements; however, it would prove inefficient given that the majority of the file’s storage capacity is dedicated to storing orbital details. Moreover, the diverse range of supplementary clock information that requires exchange does not readily align with the capabilities of the sp3 format.
